Poems for a Busy City Night

A meal of fake meat;
Faux prawns, fish, ham and chicken
Shared between lovers

Slurping down noodles
A friendly wink reminds me
I am not alone

Night sky of bright light
The city blooming below
From fourteen stories

Bustle of the crowd
A heart beat in the middle
Of iron and steel

From a few blocks down
I can smell the markets of
Busy  Chinatown
